Where does Milk come from?
Where does Milk come from?
We cover milk facts like calcium - how much water and food cows eat - how long it takes a cow to digest their food and the whole process of how to milk the cows and get the milk to market. The students watch a video and we have riddles and ag-nalogies. We have the students do a experiment and give them string cheese to eat at school or to take home. We also give the teachers papers they can pass out to the students for extra credit or just for fun that have to do with milk.

Popcorn
Popcorn
We cover facts about popcorn. How much a bushel weighs - what we can get from a bushel of corn and what products have corn in it. Students watch a video about the whole process of picking corn. We have four different kinds of popcorn for them to taste and the students will have pop for pop has corn syrup. Students will receive a single micro popping bag and the teacher will receive 2 large micro popping bags to use later. Teachers will receive papers for students to use later or to take home.

Seeds in a Glove
Seeds in a Glove
We cover facts about seeds. Seeds sprout in different time spans - how long it takes them to germinate - when they do germinate what they need to grow. Students get to experiment by watching four different seeds going through this process. Students will keep a diary about the different sprouting spans of the seeds. There will be one mystery seed the students will not know until it has sprouted. We will give the teacher a diary paper to give to each students to help chart the experiment. Teachers will receive agricultural magazines and news papers to use for the students scrapbooks.

Let’s Make Pizza
Let's Make Pizza
We cover facts about pizza. Where it was invented - the ingredients in a pizza - where the ingredients come from and how a pizza is good for you. This is all on a video the students will watch. We will give the students a slice of pizza and a cup of water. The teachers will receive papers for the students to do at a later date.
